I Tried Trendy TikTok Ulta Beauty Finds So You Don't Have To

Happy Friday! I may be late to the game but I am obsessed with TikTok. This blog post isn't sponsored by Tik Tok so I am not gonna rave about it but the app does feature some funny, talented, and knowledgeable creators. Recently, I have seen a trend of creators sharing their favorite Ulta Beauty finds for under $20. In the videos, they happen to share mostly the same products so I decided to give some of them a try. I will try out five products and rate them either "overrated or underrated". Scroll down below to see the products!

Unicorn Fruit Body Butter

This product is UNDERRATED. My body butter virginity was taken away this week and let me tell you that I don't regret it. First of all, this product smells like birthday cake ice cream which makes you smell like a whole treat. I applied the body butter in the shower after shaving my legs. Applying the body butter to my damp skin created the best result of shiny and smooth legs. This product was $20.

Blur Stick Universal Face Primer

This product is OVERRATED. This product was included in everyone's TikTok video so I had to give it a try. This primer is supposed to be for all skin types and make your skin smooth for makeup application. I guess it did that but it was just another product that wasn't necessary. I rather use a product that helps my oily skin rather than making it oily. My go-to primer is the La Base Pro Primer by Lancome. The Blur Stick is $15 at Ulta if you want to try it yourself.

Blush Stix

This product is UNDERRATED. I love all the products from Colourpop so I knew this product wouldn't disappoint. I never used a creme blush before but I am a huge fan now. The application to your face is very easy and it lasts longer than regular powder blush. This product was only $8 and I used the shade "Cool It".

Mario Badescu Facial Spray

This product is OVERRATED. This product used to be a part of my skincare routine until I realized it wasn't doing anything. It's supposed to hydrate your skin and give it a refreshed boost. I could just spray water on my face and it will do the same thing. I just use a hydrating moisturizer to get the same effect. My favorite moisturizer at the moment is the Tarte H2O hydrating boost moisturizer (you're going to have to go to Sephora to snag this product!). But if you still want to give this facial spray a try, it is only $7.

Instant Lift Brow Pencil

This product is UNDERRATED. This product... I'm about to put you all on because it's literally $2. I already have eyebrows so I don't need to waste my money on products that could do the same as this pencil. I just brush my eyebrows out and fill them in if I feel special that day. This pencil is amazing because it makes your eyebrows look natural when you actually had to do something. Like I said... it's only $2 so try it yourself.

That is a wrap for today's post and I hoped you enjoyed reading my reviews of these products. If you want me to try out more products just let me know! I will be attending Playlist Live this weekend so make sure you are following me on Instagram to see my day at the event!
