Behind The Scenes of A Blogger's First Day Of School

The day has finally come... my first day of school. This upcoming semester is exciting because I only go to school two times a week and just have to commit four hours in a classroom on those days. I am not excited about the workload but I am sure that I will be able to get through it like always. Besides, I survived the summer term which was like an ocean throwing many waves my way to make me drown. However, I survived and I know I am capable of doing even better this semester.

Today, I am going to give you an inside look on my first day of school from the routine to my overall OOTD.

6:00 a.m. This was the time I got up for school. My alarm is set at 5:30 but just like everyone else... a girl needs her snooze time.

6:20 a.m. I finished getting ready and it was time to leave the house. If you want to see my school morning routine check out this recent post: My 15 Minute Back To School Morning Routine

6:50 a.m. This is the time where I drop my brother off at school. Now it was time to go pick up some breakfast.

7:10 a.m. I made it to one of my favorite places...STARBUCKS! I also earned a free beverage last week which I decided to redeem today. My order was an Iced White Chocolate Mocha Expresso with a set of Classic Bantam Bagels. Now it was time to head to school.

7:25 a.m. I arrived at school and since I have early classes there is always available parking spaces. I headed to the library to meet up with my friend until my first class started.

8:30 a.m. I was currently in my first class of the day which is Freshman Comp 2. It wasn't hard to find my classes because I already knew how to get around the campus and the buildings beforehand. I arrived at the class early and when I went to the door it was locked. I knocked on the door and my classmates were just looking at me and then after about three minutes is when they decided to open the door for me. This is actually my second time in Freshman Comp 2 (don't ask lol) and it still consists of a lot of reading and essays (sadly).

9:13 a.m. Class dismissed. The class was supposed to be over at 9:45 but we only went over the syllabus and that made the class shorter.

9:30 a.m. I met up with some of my friends until my second class started.

10:00 a.m. My second class had just started. This class is Mass Media and I am excited about this class because it is a course directed towards my major. This class is also right around the corner from my first class and I am so glad that it is. That means I don't have to run across campus in under fifteen minutes to get to the next class.

10:55 a.m. Class dismissed. This class was supposed to be over at 11:15 but again the first days of classes don't consist of much information. In this class, we are going to focus on the history and different types of media's. The teacher also explained to us that there will be a lot of TedTalks we will be watching and I don't know if that is a good or bad thing. But all of our quizzes are going to be open-note so I am happy about that.

11:00 a.m. I headed over to the building that my last class was located in and sat on my phone in the lounge area until my class started.

11:30 a.m. I've finally gone to the last class of the day which was Introduction to Corrections. This class is not apart of my major but is a part of my graduation requirements for high school. In that case, I am the only person in my class not trying to work in criminal justice or law. My teacher is very nice and hopefully, this course won't be as hard since I have taken many criminal justice courses.

12: 45 a.m. Class dismissed. Yup, right at the dismissal time. That is the end of my school day and I took myself to Moe's for a successful first day of class. I already have tons of work and still have a class online to worry about. Wish me luck and I send some your way as well.

My first day of school outfit was so comfortable. Since it's college I wasn't planning to go all out for the first day but I wanted to achieve my favorite look: looking cute with no effort.

My outfit consisted of a shirt, jeans, and sneakers. I actually did do my hair because today is probably the only day I would have actually straightened it for school. Messy buns and ponytails, I will see you the rest of the semester.
