COVID Friendly Halloween Ideas

Well....stay home! COVID cases are still rising and there is no point to put your health or others at risk to dress up or get some candy. In today's post, I am going to show you how to celebrate the spooky holiday from the comfort of your own home.

Create A Menu

A good celebration always has to have food so Halloween isn't an exception. Whether you want to cook up a dish or order your favorite takeout...dinner will be the perfect companion for a scary movie night. I decided to make some "mummy" pigs in a blanket to get in the Halloween spirit. Don't forget the candy as well!

The Costume

You can still wear a costume while you stay at home and you can even participate in an online costume contest with family and friends. This year, I decided to dress up in some cute Halloween pajamas that I purchased from Walmart. I couldn't find any online links for the pajama sets but I am telling you about them because Christmas is around the corner and Walmart has a variety of pajamas for affordable prices... you're welcome.

Movie Marathon

Everyone loves a good movie and thrillers happen to be my favorite ones. I compiled a list of my favorite movies that will be perfect for your Halloween movie night.

Covid Friendy Plans

If you still want to get out of the house may I suggest not attending a party. You can participate in a socially distanced night in your city. Some ideas include a drive-in movie theater, a pumpkin patch, a drive-thru haunted road, a safe trunk or treat, or an escape room. At home, you can participate in an online Halloween zoom event, a scavenger hunt, pumpkin carving, or some Halloween baking.

That is a wrap for my Halloween blog post and I wanted to share it with you all to show you can still have fun even if the holiday looks different this year.
