The Perfect Beach Getaway Less Than An Hour From Orlando

 

This past week, I had the opportunity to stay at the DoubleTree Cocoa Beach Oceanfront Hotel after being closed down for over three years. The newly renovated hotel is ready to welcome guests to the space coast for a relaxing vacation. Room Tour

For reference, I stayed in a King Balcony W/ Partial Ocean Front View Room.

My room was very spacious and I could've stayed in the room with another person very comfortably. The room had a bed, desk area, extra table/dining area, a bench, armchair, and patio furniture. The room included a TV, mini-fridge, coffee machine, safe, and a closet section. 

The bathroom was nice and the water temperature and pressure were great. I really liked the shelving feature near the mirror to place my beauty products. The bathroom had a hairdryer as well. The travel-sized beauty products in the room are pretty good and I used the shampoo and conditioner after spending my morning at the pool.

The view from my room included the pool deck and the beach.

Amenities

The hotel has a pool and access to Cocoa Beach. Enjoy a stroll on the deck before you reach the beachside shore. From the shore, you are able to see many boats and cruise ships in the ocean as well. 

The hotel has a fitness center that is open 24 hours for hotel guests. The center is small but still has a variety of machines to use and even a full set of weights.

Located on the main floor, a game center with a few arcade games is there for your enjoyment.

Food

The hotel had a restaurant and bar which made my vacation even more pleasant. You won't even have to leave the hotel to have a great meal. I truly enjoyed the chicken tenders and fries but the menu has a variety of food items to choose from.

Did someone say breakfast buffet? The buffet is open at this time and offers a variety of breakfast items. From baked goods, fruit, and your traditional eggs and bacon, there is something for the entire family to enjoy.

The hotel even had a Starbucks on-site. Having the ability to enjoy a cup of coffee at any time of the day is amazing.
