Punta Gorda Travel Diary

Happy Friday! This week, I got the chance to discover a new city in South Florida called Punta Gorda. I stayed a couple of days relaxing and enjoying some quality time avoiding my responsibilities. I enjoyed my stay and want to share with you all the things that I did on my trip. You can find the clothes I wore throughout my trip under the "Shop My Wardrobe" section on the homepage of the blog.

After a three-hour drive, I checked into my hotel room and began exploring the city. I headed over to the Fishermans Village which was a five-minute drive from my hotel.  The village is full of shops and places to eat that lie on top of the beautiful ocean water.

At the Fisherman Village, I only purchased something from one store which is called the Naples Soap Company. I purchased a soap bar and three lip balms. I have been obsessing over the vanilla lip balm because it makes my lips feel nourished.

I stopped at Publix on the way home to gather some dinner and snacks for a night in the hotel. I got my favorite chicken tender sub which lasted two days and the best candy ever (Chocolate Covered Peanuts). I also finished Riverdale Season Three and it was amazing.

The hotel I stayed at was called the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Punta Gorda Harborside and I loved my stay there. The hotel was in a peaceful area and close to Port Charlotte which reminded me of Orlando. They also had complimentary parking, internet, and breakfast. The hotel room was very nice and the hotel also has great amenities. I would definitely go back to that hotel for a future stay.

I wore a cute summer dress on my day out shopping. I got it for under $25.

I visited shops located in the Port Charlotte Town Center and the Cocoplum Village Shops. I purchased a lot of great things and I found some great deals as well.

After a long day of shopping, I headed to the pool to catch the little sun that was out. I also had the pool to myself and I got to blast all of my R&B hits at the pool.

After the pool, I tried a local ice cream shop in the area called Harborwalk Scoops and Bites. The ice cream was good but I still love my Sugar Daddy's Ice Cream in Madeira Beach.

The long day came to an end and I ordered some Chilis and started watching the show "You" on Netflix. The next day was check-out day and I was so sad. I can't wait to take my next vacation.

Stay tuned till August for more travel diaries and packing content.
