The Ultimate Curvy Swimsuit Guide

Hello, Y'all! I haven't spoken to you all since 2020 and a lot has been happening in the Stay Klassay community. I launched The Klassay Influencer which is an online guide for aspiring nano influencers who want to create a personal brand and work with brands. I am active on new social media platforms like TikTok and Clubhouse so make sure to follow me @stayklassay. The main account I stay active on is my Instagram so make sure to follow me on there as well.

In this post, I am going to share my favorite swimsuit brands that are inclusive to the full-figure and curvy gals out there. It can be very difficult to find a swimsuit that not only fits you but also makes you feel confident. If you're a size 0 or a size 22, there is something for everyone in this guide.

Target

Target is a great place to find affordable and trendy swimwear for every size. My favorite brands to shop from at Target are Xhilaration and Kona Sol. Target usually holds sales for their swimwear throughout the season like 20% off or BOGO swim pieces so I recommend waiting on those if you are looking for a deal.

Dippin' Daisy's

Dippin' Daisy's is a swimwear brand that I've recently discovered and I was gifted some of their pieces to try out. I love the material of their swimwear because it's very soft and breathable. The swimwear doesn't make you feel restricted with lining but still gives you the support you need if you have a larger chest. The swimsuit I am wearing at the beginning of this post is from here as well. They have an inclusive line that carries sizes 1X-3X which is a great step into more plus-size representation in the swimwear industry.

Saltwater Collective

The Saltwater Collective brings minimal but stylishness into swimwear. The coolest thing about each piece is that they are made from abandoned fishing nets and nylon waste from landfills. The size range is from XS-2X! The swimwear pieces are a little pricier but they are ethically curated and are great basics to last a while.

Aerie

If your a fan of American Eagle then Aerie is right up your alley. Aerie has cute swimwear and they do a great job showing curvier models in their pieces. Aerie sizes go up to XXL. Aerie is really good about having sales on swimwear and a common one is $20 swim separates.

MissesBrie

If you want to feel like a whole baddie, this swimwear brand is for you. This woman and black-owned small business has been on my radar for the last year and I am so excited to spend my pool days in her pieces. The founder Brielle Anyea models the swimwear herself and always looks like a queen. P.S. you can always find a sale on the site.

Torrid

For all my plus-size babes out there, Torrid always comes through with the supportive swim collection. Torrid is a bit on the pricier side but it is worth the investment especially for basic swim pieces. The bikini tops are always supportive and it's like wearing a bra but cuter.

Rebdolls

If you didn't think a brand could be more size-inclusive, think again. Rebdolls carries sizes S-5X! Rebdolls is a women-led and minority-owned business. Their slogan #SexyForAll never lies because each of their pieces is unique and will break necks on your next beach trip.

Cupshe

Affordable swimwear for all with sizes from XS to 4X! Cupshe specializes in timeless pieces that are perfect for a family pool day to a beach trip with bae. Each swimwear piece has adjustable straps and removable pads. Every body is different so it's great that Cupshe creates swimwear that is versatile to everyone.

AdoreMe

AdoreMe is a new brand that I was introduced to in the last year and I am personally obsessed with their pajamas. However, they have an inclusive swimwear line that is really cute. AdoreMe has a subscription service that offers pieces at a discounted price and you can pause and skip your subscription at any time. The size range ranges from an XS-4X!

Other Stores

The great thing about swimwear is that so many stores carry swimwear or have their own collection. You can find great swimwear at Walmart, Amazon, Ross, Macy's, Marshalls, Burlington, Forever 21, and the list goes on.

I wanted to highlight brands that I've been loving recently and cater to many body types. The swimwear brands only going up to a size large need to get a new team because the average size of an American woman is 16-18 so let's cater to them, please. I look forward to updating this post as the summer month's come along and feel free to comment down below your favorite swimwear brands.

For size reference, I typically wear a size 18 and I am wearing a size 2X in the photo
