My Self Care Night Routine After A Stressful Week

I am so happy that Friday is upon us because it has felt like the longest week ever. From taking the SAT to planning events, my brain feels fried and by Thursday I had the biggest headache that wasn't going away with just a pill. When my week is more crazy than usual I must include my self-care routine more than once a week. Today, I am going to share my usual self-care routine for the fall season including my physical and emotional rituals.

The main part of all my self-care routines is being clean. I love taking a deep shower that includes washing my hair, shaving areas, cleansing my body, and detoxing my skin. At night, the cleanser I love to use is the Clean&Clear Night Relaxing Deep Cleaning Face Wash. This wash is my favorite whether I am going to use a face mask or not. It makes my skin feel refreshed and glowy.

On my self-care night routines is when I like to use a face mask. Face masks usually add a little extra time in the routine and that is why I use them if I have the time. I have currently been obsessing over the Freeman Avocado & Oatmeal Facial Clay Mask because it makes my skin feel more smooth and rejuvenated.

I also love applying clay face masks because it's like you are painting your face. Not only does it make your skin tingle but it's fun to play with different strokes on your face. The mask is usually on my face for 7-10 minutes and then I wash it off with warm water and a washcloth.

While waiting for the mask to dry or even after, I love to snack and catch up on Youtube Videos. I have been loving Shane Dawson's newest documentary on "The Mind Of Jake Paul" and can't wait for part 7 & 8. My favorite snacks include hot fries, goobers, ice cream, and sometimes popcorn. Watching TV or Youtube is a great way to relax and forget about what you have been worrying about all week.

Since it's Fall, I have different fall scents all around my house and that is one of my favorite things about the season. For me personally, scents calm me down and feel really relaxed. One of my favorite candles right now is the  Caramel Pumpkin Swirl Candle from Bath & Body Works. When buying candles, try to catch the sales because paying $24.50 for one candle is a bit much.

The final step for relaxing is being in clothes that make you feel comfortable. Forget the bra and the tight clothing and unwind in your favorite pajamas. My pajamas usually consist of a tank, a jogger, sweat, or booty shorts, and a pair of spooky season socks.
