Must Have Trends From New York Fashion Week

Last week was the last straw of all the runway shows for the Fall/Winter season. Many designers brought out their best work by showcasing a various number of trends that I want to add to my wardrobe ASAP. Today I handpicked some of my favorite trends from a variety of shows that you can add to your wardrobe at the click of a button.

Patchwork Pieces

Patchwork has been around since the SS'18 show but it is really making its statement for the next upcoming seasons. Usually wearing multiple prints would make you look like a tablecloth or curtain but now it is the new chic. It makes your style look different, unique, and very feminine. Slipping on a patchwork dress can make you slip away from your statement plain floral midi dress. The above images are from the Tory Burch Fashion show.

Wild Colors & Wild Prints

I have been obsessed with zebra print since I can remember and now it's finally making a comeback. This time with other prints mixed with vibrant colors. The Tom Ford show really set the path and the runway being the first show of NYFW. Whether you are rocking animal prints on a belt or top, your outfit is going to scream "Wild For Fall!"

 Comfy Footwear

Comfortable clothing is the definition of my personal style and I am so glad the runway represented that this season. At the Michael Khor's show, the models were rocking some cool flats, sneakers, and boots. So it's time to put those heels under your bed and give your feet a break for these upcoming seasons.

Goodbye Mini Bags

Having binged watched all of Aimee Song's NYFW vlogs I know that mini bags are a no more this season. Mini bags were cute but they were not practical for the typical female needs. Now, it's time to pull out your mom purse ladies and throw everything in it! These pictures are from the 3.1 Phillip Lim Show.

That is a wrap for the must-have trends this season! I hope you guys enjoyed this post especially if you were witnessing NYFW on the frame of your phone like me. Next year I hope to bring you guys real photos taken by me for NYFW 2019.

P.S. NONE OF THE PICTURES FROM THE SHOWS OR OF THE MODELS ARE ORIGINALLY MINE. (taken from Google Images)
