I Wore An Outfit From Target to Attend A Blogging Event

Yesterday I attended The Glo Up Series which focuses on local female businesses and their importance on being green with the use of their products. I had the chance to see and receive many cool items from all of the brands and I want to share that with you all today.

Since I was attending such an environmentally friendly event, I wanted to make sure my outfit expressed that concept. My romper was created with a floral and paisley print to give a cute and feminine vibe. The colors of green, pink, and white also gave my outfit a pop of color and a summery feel. The shoes I wore were my absolute favorite summer staple yet. These white slip-on sneakers are so comfy and are great to dress up any outfit.

Shop My Look:

The event was held in the local soap shop around the College Park area. The Naked Bar Soap Co. is a cute little shop with handmade soaps, creams, balms and more. The smell of the place was very refreshing and I am likely to make future purchases here soon. I received two things from this brand including scrubbing gloves and a balm. I already have started using the balm and I am obsessed with it. If you get a chance I recommend stopping in and checking it out.

One business featured in this event was WorthyRags. Let me tell you, they have the cutest things ever! Featured in the photo above you can see some of the earrings they had displayed and I loved all of them. They also had cute bags, scarves, and clothing pieces. If you are wanting a chicer wardrobe I suggest checking them out at one of their Pop Up locations.

Another extraordinary brand I came across was Illuma Cosmetics. They use natural products to create creams, serums, and even makeup. I received a vegan serum for my face from them and I am loving it so far. With affordable prices and great products, I am likely to be purchasing more from this business soon. If you are interested in using natural products for your body, then definitely give this brand a search.

How cute is this! Outside the shop was this cute little RV called The Southern Glamper. Inside there are many products to complete your makeup dreams. You can even request the southern glamper for a wedding or other events to glam you up. This was such a cute and unique idea that I didn't even realize was in the area.

Other businesses I received products from were HairbyChristinaKelly and Kitlife From Christina Kelly, I received a primer and strengthing spray from the brand Bumble and bumble. for styling my hair. I am so excited to use these products and will update you guys soon on how they worked out. I also received a discount for my first service to her Downtown hair salon and I am sure to give it a try. From the brand Kitlife, I received a journal along with other cute knickknacks. I also received two gift cards that I can't wait to use just in time for back to school. This brand creates planners that are so cool and made right in Winter Garden.

After attending the event I drove two minutes down the road and discovered this amazing homemade ice cream shop. I have been currently obsessed with rich and creamy ice cream and this shop fulfilled my needs. From the affordable prices to the taste of my cookies and cream scoops I can say that I have found my new go-to ice cream shop.

In all, I had a great afternoon exploring new businesses created by women who are leading a path to female entrepreneurship in the Orlando Area.

I hope the rest of your summer is as sweet as my ice cream!
